Rainbow

Ok I’m SO tired of hearing that people do not like Rainbow becasue of the red nose.
We all know originally the Rainbow’s got red noses. I personally LOVE the Rainbows either way
How many of you would actually LIKE Rainbow if the nose was not red??

probly not. this is purely my personal opinion because i am very nit picky about color schemes.

I have a strict preference on what i think looks good on these dragons and why(certain shading/color transitioning enhances the scales or curves for instance).

(personal opinion below)
the rainbow just does not do it for me. it does not look natural, does not compliment the features/curves in a natural way, has no real color transitioning that enhances specific scales.

Now, this does not mean i hate the rainbow coloration. I admire the rainbow scheme a lot for the artistic affect it has, the blending of colors on the scales, the variation of colors used in transition on a single piece.
but if given a choice between rainbow and other colors, i am always going to pick the one that appeals to how i would like to see these dragons.(or if there is a color that specifically means something to me*raises a blue flag*)

so even with out the red nose, it would not affect me liking it more or not.

(but i fully support the ones on here that love the rainbow dragons! <3 *waves rainbow dragon flags*)

I actually really like the red on their nose and usually I am not very fond of red…. 😀

I notice an awful lot of fussing over rainbow recently. You can’t MAKE people like rainbow. Period.

I’d also like to point out that it is far too time consuming to paint. And that it is a retired color.

I hate rainbow, and it would not matter if there were red noses or not.

It wouldn’t matter if it had a red nose or not. I just don’t like the whole colour patterns on the rainbow. Sorry.

I do agree that they are pretty. I just don’t like them that much.

I don’t really care for this colour scheme at all so I really don’t care if they have red noses or not.

I like rainbow but it’s not my favorite color. I think I like the red nose, but it wouldn’t matter either way for me. The only sculpture I’ll probably try to get in rainbow though is the fledgie, they’re cute in anything. Or the OW, they’re awesome in anything.

I was not trying to MAKE anyone do anything.
I also kept hearing a LOT about the Rainbow and it mostly seemed to focus on the red nose so I was simply wondering if that was the only part about Rainbow that people did not like

I like the Rainbow either way, however, I only have them in the original family, and that’s probably all I’m going to have them in. I do like the other pieces though, I just don’t want a lot of Rainbow. I may get Rainbow-overload if I have too many, and I want to keep liking it. 😀

I like the Rainbow coloration because it’s so cheerful! Doesn’t matter to me if the nose is red or some other color (I’d LOVE to see the Rainbow coloration in person….)

The other part of my liking it is because it reminds me of my mum. That probably sounds silly to most of you…. you’d have to meet my mum to know what I’m talking about. My mother is the ultimate optimist. She ALWAYS finds the good in any situation and my siblings and I like to tease mum and tell her that she is so happy all the time that she’l liable to “cheerful people to death” 😀 😀 😀
