I got asked this by an ebay member, she’s selling a retired black mother unicorn;

Is the piece rare? She was told this and wants to know if it’s true. I know it’s retired, but was it limited production or anything?

She asked me this, and I don’t want to say, “I don’t know”.

no it was regular production… and I wouldn’t say it’s rare… it’s just one that pops up less frequently.. and seldom in mint condition..

it seems the black unicorns are definitely more popular with collectors though… and sometimes they can go high depending on the piece…

As frozen said they were regular production pieces. The black unicorns were retired in 2000 so there are less of them in exsistance than the white unicorns which are still currently in production. They definately don’t turn up on ebay as often as the white unicorns.

Well the one on Ebay is going cheap so far, $19.99 when I last saw it. jr-… something is selling it. I don’t have the link on me and want to to go bed, so maybe tomorrow?
