Hi! My name is Megan, I’m new to Windstones but absolutely in love, your work is stunning! I’m currently working on saving up for my first dragon (I think I’m going to go with the mother)but I was wondering if they go on sale? There is a distributor near me(Bristol CT) and I was wondering if they do sales on like black friday, or if they are allowed to put them on sale or if the price is fixed. In addition while I’m here I may know of another store that could possibly be interested in them selling them if I told them about you, but would Stella Luna in Southington be too close to the Bristol location?

I don’t believe that the Windstone Store has any special sales, but you can always check out the Classifieds section… this is where several forum members post past and current Windstone pieces for sale or trade. Most are taken such great care of that they are practically new! The Classified Ads sometimes have some great pieces for sale prices.eBay is another place to try but you need to be more careful on what you bid on. Some of our forum members do also sell on eBay, but some of the eBay Sellers aren’t members and just don’t know as much about Windstone pieces and the correct way to pack them for shipping. This has resulted in some really terrible experiences that have happened to members receiving broken pieces, due to inexperienced sellers or just plain bad wrapping.

In that case, I would expect that sales depend on store policy (though I could be wrong). As Ela_Hara said, the Windstone online store does not have special sales. They do have gift certificates that can be used for online store purchases. Christmas is coming … maybe someone would get one for you as a gift if you wanted.

It is these days. Almost all of the stores that used to carry Windstones either have gone out of business or no longer carry them. There is a list of dealers under the “Shop” tab, but I think that it is way out of date.
Hi Megan! This is Susie, in Windstone Customer Service.
Our web-store has never offered sales (I’m sorry, but no Black Friday specials will be found here this year). Our dealers (and we still have some, our “Find a Dealer” list is not too far out of date: https://windstoneeditions.com/dealer-search/ ) generally sell our pieces at a fixed price, since Windstone figurines are regarded as artwork, they do not go on sale.
We are however, always interested in new dealers and are happy to accept suggestions of stores that would be perfect to carry our product! I will look into “Stellaluna” and contact them if they are not too close to any of our existing dealers. Windstones are made by a team of fantastic people: our mold maker Marco , our caster-manager, Rolly, our painters, Jaz and Gina, and our quality control and finisher, Norma. Not to mention Susie who does all the orders and shipping, and John who deigns the stuff to make it all work. Little John does the Live streams and online posting. I do the original sculpture and paint lots of grab bags!
