Hmm… All my siamese have the amethyst stones, and my black ones have the Aquamarine stones. But I am interested in knowing the answer to this question anyway. 😀

Maybe it’s because they are slightly different siamese? One is darker in color, and appears to have blue interference or something on it’s tail, while the other is lighter, and no appearance of interference at all.

Are the siamese different in the colorations because they came from different batches? (that’s what I’m assuming) but I still wonder about the jewel colors… Is it just the siamese flappers that have different colors to their jewels or do all the flappers have other a variety of colors?

Is the question “Did we screw up and stick the wrong color jewel in again?” Looks like we did! The Siamese are supposed to have amethyst jewels.I think I prefer the blue one, since Siamese cats have blue eyes, and I usually match the jewel with the eye color,so if this cat opened his eyes the blue jewel would match.

isnt it interesting how so often the “mistakes” end up being the pieces worth the most? I like the purple jewel myself. 😀 😀

My pair of Siamese flappers were bought 20 years ago. The bird wing has an amethyst jewel, but the bat wing has a color shift jewel…blue to purple.

I just noticed… does that blue jeweled flapcat have interference on his TAIL?? Somebody really went off the rails with that one.

Even the paint scheme on the necklaces are different… The one with the blue stone has 3 blue dots and a lavender dot with a blue dot under the stone. The amethyst one has 2 lavender dots, 2 blue dots and a lavender dot under the stone. I also think the flapper with the blue stone necklace has interference paint on the tail, ears and nose. It also has more blue on it’s wings. Blackdesertwind, I WANT your kitties! 😆 j/k
