So, are the male dragons like less desirable or something? I keep seeing them on eBay for a lot cheaper than the other dragons. They look really cool to me, but I don’t get why they go for so much less. Are there more of them than the other sculptures? 😕
Not that I’m complaining. The lower prices make it easier for me to get them. I might have to take advantage of that later on. I’m just curious.
Silly question, but since I’m new to the hobby, I figured I’d better check before bidding in case I missed something!

I don’t think that the male dragons are undesirable at all. They are one of the highest selling Windstone items! I think they sometimes go for less because they are an item that is very popular… and there are a lot more of them out there in the world than some of the other shapes (such as the Old Warrior or Lap dragon, for example).
Does that help? 🙂

Yeah, I thought they looked really cool, so apparently everybody thinks so too. 😀
June 24, 2008 at 2:14 pm #717334I was lucky enough to find my old peacock male dragon on ebay for $35.00. I love that sculpt and had wanted one forever… Now my sons would like to start their own collection (they are 12) and the lower prices lets them be able to purchase Melody’s work with funds that they have earned themselves. Good luck! Go get yourself a pretty dragon boy… 😀

Next paycheck…next paycheck…Hurry up 31st! 😛
June 24, 2008 at 2:35 pm #717336yeah, the male dragon sculpt is an awesome piece. It happens to be my hubby’s favorite of the dragon sculpts. 🙂 We have several of them, in different colors, throughout the house.
June 24, 2008 at 3:57 pm #717337I have six males. I got my em-pea signed, and my ruby and peacock ones I got for $30 each because the store was going out of business. And my silver male was from travistie, my first forum buy. (I was a member less than a week when I got him) LOL 😆 I love the male scuplt. Hmmm….I think I will make a poll about this…….have to see if one exists….
June 24, 2008 at 4:22 pm #717338I like the male too. e.e I have 3. =D
June 24, 2008 at 5:33 pm #717339I like the male, but he isn’t my favorite. I really like the scratcher and if I had money I would have lots of them…
June 24, 2008 at 7:23 pm #717340June 24, 2008 at 8:00 pm #717341My peacock male was my first windstone. I also have him in Black gold. I like him a lot, but the Scratcher has been my favorite since I was around 9, so if I could, I’d have him in every color! 😛
June 24, 2008 at 9:54 pm #717342My very first Windstone was the brown male. I got him in 1986, brand new, from a store near where I used to work.
June 24, 2008 at 11:00 pm #717343Yup, they are the most common and most popular. 🙂 I think everyone has one in their collection.
June 24, 2008 at 11:38 pm #717344I don’t have a male anymore. I’m looking for one to change that fact though. 😆 Well, at least when I have some money, and my hours get better. *crossing fingers that it will be next month*
