Ummm no….. I still have money left on my credit card /pout!
August 7, 2007 at 9:31 pm #605475Yes GB I am sure it is the violet color. It isn’t super noticable, but it is on his display side. I do have a bit of the blue antiquing on mine too. I wasn’t complaining at all about him, I love him jsut the way he is. I was just saying that it seems we push a little too hard for them to be able to keep up with the demand of new items constantly flooding them.
August 7, 2007 at 10:42 pm #605476I think you’re right. I think we need to give Melody some time to breathe!!!
August 7, 2007 at 11:12 pm #605477I’ll send her one of our oxygen tanks and a non rebreather mask. I still need more old warriors muhuhahahaha!

That’s true.
Thanks for the info on the violet. I wonder how many imperfections mine has. Either way, I won’t sell him or trade him in.August 8, 2007 at 8:32 pm #605479I got my VF fledge yesterday and it’s absolutely perfect!!! I wouldn’t trade it for anything!!! If it’s a test paint, I’d love to see them all painted like it!! Thank you Melody!!!
August 8, 2007 at 9:32 pm #605480My VF fledgie has a bit of the splotching, though not as noticeable as some others I have seen, but he has a blue streak of antiquing (and by streak I mean a smudge) running down the length of his chest.
Come to think of it my metallic blue Poad has a blotch of blue paint on her rump. I noticed it when I first got her.
August 8, 2007 at 10:55 pm #605481You could just name it Streak.

The splotches are not because we are doing stuff too fast. It is because I am a loose, and messy painter. When I feel like putting paint on, I do.
August 9, 2007 at 1:17 pm #605484It’s artistic expression! All right. That adds value.

I agree, that is what i thought when i first looked over mine. if they all were painted perfectly and the same, there would be very little artistic value to the paint job i feel.
August 10, 2007 at 5:03 pm #605486Just got my VF Fledgie last night. He’s definitely got quite a bit of blue on him
. Will post pics as soon as I get the link in my email. Kinda looks like he’s flaming blue flames
Though I am curious, what color of blue is that? It’s such a neat shade of blue!

well I love the blue….it’s a great color….and when I see it in there it’s just like how you would see a real flame or candle…..
the blue just pops in…and pops out….so when I look at it, it makes me really think Violet Flame
I kinda would like more blue on mine….but I’ll live with him the way he is….
but I’d be happy to trade with anyone that thinks theirs has too much blue…..
August 10, 2007 at 9:25 pm #605488I’ll pass…I love my VF fledge!!!
