I have a question regarding orange-eyed emerald emperor dragons.
How rare and valuable are they? When I tried to look it up in Ravnheart’s
data base it only shows 1 and it sold? for about the same price as the
more common ( but still hard to find ) red-eyed emerald emperor.
So any information on the differences and values between the two styles would
be REALLY appreciated. 😕Thank you

Since the database was created in October 2006 only one orange-eyed emerald emperor has sold. If you look at to the other orange-eyed emeralds there’s roughly four of each of the other sculpts that have sold in that same time.
June 13, 2009 at 9:51 pm #769219The orange-eyed emerald dragons were a goof, and thus no one knows how many made it out that way. However, they are indeed very rare, and thus far only one confirmed orange-eyed emerald dragon has appeared since the forum began. It might be a few, or there might be 50 of them (doubtful) sitting in people’s homes that are oblivious that they have a rare item. Sadly there is no way to know for sure.
I don’t know the details of why the orange-eyed emerald emperor sold for such a ‘low’ price, though I suspect that it was either a Buy-it-now and someone got very lucky, or no one noticed at the time that it had orange eyes and thus didn’t realize the rarity.

June 14, 2009 at 4:58 am #769221My avatar is my puppy I got after I had to put my wonderful dog Maxine to sleep due to cancer back in November.
Her name is Darla the wonder mutt!! 😆
One of my friends on the forum put it up for me because I can’t post pictures because I do not
belong to any photo sharing web sites yet. Thank you to sbianchi for taking the time to do it. 😛I also want to give a thank you for the information regarding the orange-eyed emerald emperor dragons.
I am going to see if Kyrin will perform another miracle by fixing it for me. She comes highly recommended
and I saw the before and after pictures of the old green emperor dragon she repaired which did look
as bad as mine looks now. I just hope she is not burnt out on repairing emperors! :scratch:Thanks :bye:
June 14, 2009 at 4:22 pm #769222What a cute puppy, pixie! I’m sorry you lost Maxine; how old was she? I hear Kyrin works wonders with Windstones (she completely repaired a White Male Dragon’s face), so I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
June 14, 2009 at 5:08 pm #769223Maxine was only 10 years old. She was my little girl. When I got Darla, I told her that her
big sister is in heaven keeping an eye on her and that Darla has some big paws to fill.I read Kyrins post about only having 5 peoples repairs at a time and that she will post when
she has an opening for more. I guess I am going to have to wait on getting my dragon repaired so
I will just have to keep him safe and secure until an availability opens up. 😕July 9, 2009 at 9:35 am #769224Okay, got the Emperor out of the box and then spent about an hour puzzling him back together. I will be posting pictures, this is the most badly broken Emperor I have attempted to repair to date. Even my peacock one that came in the boombox package doesn’t rival this.
He will be awhile, since I have to rebuild huge sections, but I am going to try to post WIP pictures as I go. Other repairs are here, I will have to check and see just who I have left here atm. But I think I have about 3 others and one on the way. This one isn’t exactly bumped up, I just got curious then just had to see how much of him I could rebuild in one go once I saw him.

I’m the one who got him. For Christmas, Mom split the cost of him with me as a present 😀
If I remember correctly, there were some beautiful LE pieces up on ebay at the time, and I think most of the focus was on the special pieces. Plus, I think you had to actually open the auction to see his orange eyes.July 11, 2009 at 6:31 pm #769226I think I like the Orange eyes better then the red
July 11, 2009 at 8:57 pm #769227Yersh – me too, DM! The red eyes don’t appeal to me at all… 😳
