Question about my scratching dragon…

I’m a long-time admirer of Windstone, but never owned one until today. I just purchased a white scratching dragon from an antique store. From what I can see, he’s in beautiful condition. However, I noticed a small hole/hollow on the top of his head, between his eyes, and I’m unsure if it is supposed to be like that, or if something is missing there. I tried looking for images of the scratching dragon, but naturally found nothing from the top angle. Is there something missing on the top of his head, or is it part of the design? Thanks! ^_^

It’s likely missing its stone/jewel. This picture isn’t from the top, but you can still see it:

It sounds like it’s missing it’s gem! That is an easy fix, at least, should you wish to do so. 🙂
