Hiya Melody,
A question was posed on the Facebook Group about what the next grab bag would be, and I thought it was worth asking or mentioning that it seems a lot of folks would maybe appreciate restocks on some of the older Limited Production pieces that you painted and maybe take a brief break with grab bags? Not sure if this is feasible but though it worth mentioning.
I’d personally be really excited to see things like the Large Lynx Point Flip Flap and Flap Cats being restocked as well as other colors that were produced on a limited basis (orange tabby, birman, etc) and haven’t been restoked for several years. Ocelot Griffins would be another example, Albino Kirins, (maybe males this time too?) and the list goes on.
Are there any plans to maybe start delving into these long-awaited waitlists or are there other more pressing projects (toaster, castle pyo, new grab bags, etc) that are making it impossible for the foreseeable future?

I would love to see kitties restocked soon too, the Lynx point flips were put in the store almost 9 years ago, I finally found one but I still would love to see them restocked so that everyone can have the chance to own one. I asked Susie about them last year and she said there was a very long waitlist for them so I never quite understood why they haven’t been restocked in all this time? All flaps and flips are so beautiful, we all need that prettiness in our lives instead of trying to find the few out there that might be sold by another member but that’s such a small pool that it rarely happens at all!
I’d love to see all those others restocked as well, Ocelot was such a pretty color scheme! And adult kirins, we haven’t had those since I think the albinos which we released *looks up the page* in 2013?! Oh my! We really need more of those!
and perhaps finally going through the old masters and old molds storage unit too? there’s so few old animals out there these days and newer members don’t even know what they are when they show up on Ebay rarely. Yes, part of me wants the Mother Meerkat’s molds and master found but there’s just many wonderful animals in the old animal line that I know tons of people would love to own if they were made again, they did so well on Ebay back in the 2011 and 2012, they’d sell well again!

Always looking for a lovely GB Young Unicorns, TP Male Dragons or TP Male Griffins!
We need more hands! The painters are working hard to keep the normal dragons and unicorns stocked, and then I go and make new things that need painting.
I am working on the Toaster, so I’m not even painting! So many tiny scales.I know I’m probably beating a dead horse. I only ask because the store seems pretty well stocked up with dragons and has been for some time now. A few years ago, like back during Covid-ish times it was said that this was the focus was to get the store stocked with dragons and at this point it seems pretty darn full of them. I just wonder when some of the waitlists for other things would be addressed (if ever). Some items have been on the backburner for almost a decade. I’m a patient person, but I don’t really want to dish out test paint prices for a limited production item, but that’s what it’s basically come to.
Nearly all the Flip Flaps and Kirins haven’t been restocked since 2015. Standing Oris came out once in 2019 and then never again. Those are just examples. I don’t personally need Ocelet Griffins and Pegasus, but I know many others looking for those. I’d imagine the waitlists must be extensive for those items.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but is it to keep the ebay auctions for these pieces in demand? I just don’t see why none of these other sculpts seem to get any attention. Especially ones that don’t require horns like flap cats and pegasus as that was the big problem mentioned for kirins many times over the years.

When – or if – the flap cats are produced that Gina says will be cast “soon”, they most likely will be gone in a flash. Thanks to all the pent up demand, actually restocking the store with them will be an uphill battle.
I’m not saying that Windstone shouldn’t try to restock them. I do think it would take several rounds of making the cats before they actually were stocked in the store, i.e. stayed in the store inventory for a while.
Maybe Windstone could designate 2024 as The Year of the Flap Cat (and offer only one color of the Toaster Dragon so he doesn’t suck up all the production capacity). 🙂

Gina has been painting Flap Cats and other random pieces for eBay because we have very few of these pieces cast at the moment, or they are super time-consuming to cast, (like the Oriental dragons and the Scratcher).
The adult Kirins have horn issues so they are not in production.
The Emperor Dragon has serious casting issues so he is being worked on to resolve the problem.
Yes, we need to do some production F. cats.Three Flips I’d assume destined for ebay, but I’ll take what I can get I suppose. Guess I’ll be looking for a Lynix Point Flip for 9 years like fatal was LOL! (laughs to not cry)

Or Ancient Steel — I’d like to see what that looks like on a flap cat. It’s such an interesting color scheme.
