Question about eye colors on the old green color scheme…

How many have red & how many have orange? Which sculptures are more commonly found with orange, which with red? Are orange eyes rarer? These questions came up in conversation with a friend, & we’re not entirely sure about the answer, I do know orange eyes on an old green emperor are considered good, but not entirely sure about the why’s behind it.

I’ve never seen an old green dragon with red eyes. Orange is the norm.

Are you thinking of the old emerald? Orange eyed emeralds are the special ones if memory serves. :/

I think you are thinking of Emerald. Old Green only ever had orange eyes. Emerald had red.

Orange eyes in an Emerald were a mistake, thus more rare.

That must be it, I couldn’t remember. I think red eyes in an old green would look wrong.
