I got the first question after the hint since I failed miserably searching the forum. Ayonah posted that the answer is on deviantart, when I went to deviantart Melody had a journal up mentioning it had something to do with the old animals. I go to the DA gallery, there is a photo of a turtle called “old turtle”, and in the description it mentions Mark Hines Creations. Bingo!

My problem was I kept searching “old name” orginal names”, and along those lines. I kept thinking that it had to have been in an “Ask Melody” thread. And missed the blong hint entirely. But the hint finally helped. Grr. It was just frustrating since I knew the answer was out there, but just couldn’t find it! It was fun anyhow!Keeper of the Fledgings
Where did anyone find the answer, other than my DA gallery? Just curious, since I can’t remember where it would of been posted, though I remember writing about it on a few occasions…oh! nevermind! I hadn’t read this whole thread.
I found it in the blog. I just skimmed posts until I found something about older sculpts and there it was.
After an hour of useless forum searches and giving up on reading the entire ‘ask Melody’ section, I went to Google. Finally hit home when I searched “windstone editions were first sold” That took me too a blog about the Grizzly Bears where the answer was 🙂
It would also be in the old forum under the discussion of the stone animals. I can remember the thread bit I couldn’t access it.

I didn’t know anything about an original windstone name until I heard Suuie talking about it with someone because they were thinking of making it a trivia question. Then I tried to find the answer on the forum and couldn’t. I eventually found the answer on the old animals pic, but only because Susie told me it was there. I couldn’t find the picture on the forum though and eventually found it on livejournal.
I actually think we have one that’s harder planned. Maybe that one should be last. 🙂
