Well Im not sharing answers, but, yes, I’m right. XP
December 15, 2011 at 8:25 pm #865750I searched for three hours last night to find it (without a hint ;))
December 15, 2011 at 8:29 pm #865752I keep getting access denied messages on old posts. This is frustrating. :K
It kind of stinks for people who aren’t longtime users and just remember this stuff.December 15, 2011 at 8:35 pm #865753I keep getting access denied messages on old posts. This is frustrating. :K
It kind of stinks for people who aren’t longtime users and just remember this stuff. The answer is in a place that can still be accessed. So, it shouldn’t matter how longtime of a user you are. 🙂
December 15, 2011 at 8:54 pm #865758I’m a little confused-I guess only 1 trivia question has been posted so far? Today’s the 15th. The trivia questions aren’t posted in this thread, correct? Is it too late to answer the first one?
I remember Melody talking about possible names they were toying with before settling on Windstone, but I’m 95% sure none of them were actually used-at least the ones I’m thinking of.

Website: courtneymooreauthor.comDecember 15, 2011 at 11:13 pm #865768Sigh. I give up. 4 hours of searching, no answers. I think the answer is in an older thread, but all the threads from 2007 and 2006 won’t open for me. Looks just like normal threads, but when I open them nothing more than the 1st post shows, none of the replies. So eother it’s somewhere I’m not looking, or it’s in the threads I can;t open. Maybe will find the next one.
But hey, when the answer is given, think you all who got it can show the rest of us how you found it?Keeper of the Fledgings

You can answer question 1 until 7:22 PM PST tonight (12/15). The questions are valid for 24 hours from the time they are initially posted.
We did not guarantee they will be posted at any particular time of day. It’s just kind of when Ayonah has a chance to do it!
Make sure you email your guesses to ayonah@windstoneeditions.com. Any guesses with a timestamp BEFORE 7:22 PM PST today will be accepted.

December 16, 2011 at 2:28 am #865812🙂 This is fun.
December 16, 2011 at 7:37 am #865850I sent my answer to question 2 in using the email link under her avatar in the first message. Will that work ok? If not, I can resend it using regular email.

But hey, when the answer is given, think you all who got it can show the rest of us how you found it?The first question mentioned that the answer could be found in old forum and blog entries, so I went to the blog, since it’s a lot smaller than the entire forum!
On page 6 of the blog, the blog entry titled “Grizzly bears” mentions Mark Hines Creations as being the name before Windstone editions. I found the answer to question 2 really easily too, but I can’t talk about that… yet. 😉

Hehe.. I put Mark Hines Collections. (-.-); I went off the old animals picture from a thread in 2008 and was trying to read the logo in the bottom left corner in tiny thin letters. Oh well! I knew it was Mark Hines something! *lol*
December 16, 2011 at 5:11 pm #865882azurielle, I did an advanced search and typed in “old animals” and went through the threads. What I found was in a 2008 thread started by mmloda with a title about Ebay, where there was discussion about the old animal castings that were found going up on ebay. It was a hard search though if you didn’t know where to look or what to type in (I tried different search words and got WAY too many returns or really old threads that were empty)! Looks like there are some easier questions coming along as well.
December 16, 2011 at 5:23 pm #865885For the first question, the first place I looked was in the blog. I actually skimmed right past it 3 or 4 times! Then I tried searching for the original animal line, but came up with 2,000 pages of results! At 1 AM I thought I’ll check out the blog ONE MORE TIME then I’m calling it a night. I could’ve kicked myself when I finally found it, LOL! I read so much Windstone History that night that I think I’m prepared for the next questions. 🙂
I think the questions should be hard to answer to make us really earn our prizes!!
