Ok, I just bought a mom unicorn and im thinking of painting her. Her horn was bent, but I bent it back. It seems really weak… Her coat is dull, too, like she was handled alot. I was thinking about painting her like a buckskin or bay. Do you think this is a good idea, or will I probably just regret it later? I only spent $25 on her…
I repainted a damaged young Unicorn…so it’s a cool idea to me…
just remember it will take several coats to come out right….

yeah me too…mine was supposed to be like a palomino…then it turned out golden brown…

lol….you won’t…just decide the color before you start…make sure you clean her off and go from there
Well for 25 dollars would you really regret it if you did ( not that you would ) I think it is a good idea.

LOL! Im doin it! But hey…Frozen…the paint just peels right off. Whats up w/that? Should I just paint it and then go over it with a top coat? Will that prevent the peeling?

did you clean it first? and what kind of paint are you using….
some of mine peeled off….I had to rub it until it stuck…
might take some alcohol to it and then let it dry for a while
Hmmm…to late for all that. Im using the Winsor and Newton galleria paints. They say acrylic but, to me, though im no expert, they look and feel more like oil paints. I tried to wipe it off but nothing happend. It was still dingy. I didnt take any cleaner to it. I must say, though, it is lookin cute!
