Here is my keeper. I think I will see about getting blue eyes instead of lavender. I was inspired by the Timber Rattle Snake.

The images dont do justice to him, but he does have a shimmer. I used pearlescent paint on him. The pearl matches by color…

Very nice job on this fellow. His patterning is beautiful and overall well executed. Bravo
Would love to see pics in brighter natural lighting to really see his colors

Thanks! It took me a few days. I did a little, took a break and resumed again. I was very careful not to rush it. I dont have a steady hand like I used to have when i was younger, but I think over all he turned out nicely. If I do antiquing again, I will try a different color, the dark brown didnt seem to go well with the blue. Perhaps I will match the colors for the antique finish. I will see if I can get some better lighting, but my house does not have the greatest and its been raining so outside will have to wait.

Thanks for getting the pictures to post! Im not sure what went wrong lol.

Here is the picture I used…He has better colors, I just love the shades of blue between the scales.

Very nice! Love the colors and I know what you mean about photos not doing a piece justice.
