What are you stitching? I’ve a half finished something on my frames somewhere… 😳 The boys are wanting to try soap making – I know nothing about soap making but lots about cross stitching!

I’m currently stitching an 11″ by 14″ dragon. It’s been a WIP for years, but now I’m devoting serious time to it, so I can finish it and frame it.
I’d lurv to see it! I’ve done some designing of patterns – boy is that a process! I’ve never really run across a dragon pattern that I’v liked… I keep hoping Windstone will do patterns of their dragons… *DiNozzo’s self…keep dreaming!*

Love to see it as well. I recently finished an Eeyore birth sampler for my 10 month old nephew. I plan on having it framed for his first birthday. It would have been done months ago. All I had left was some of the backstitching when my SIL saw the package – but not what it was – and said “Oh Cross-Stitch” in a what sounded like condesending tone. Needless to say that threw me out of the groove and sucked a lot of the fun I was having out of the project.
Believe me, if I ever finish it, I will be raving about how I’m done. I will tell you all when it’s done. Pegasi, sorry your SIL sucked the enjoyment out of your art; some people just don’t understand. I find it to be soothing, relaxing, and therapeutic. It’s also fun to see your art come along and make progress, take shape, develop a personality.
I’m sorry too!!! Having the fun and enjoyment sucked out of your artwork just, well, really SUCKS, for lack of a better word… Hold that thought… Ah ha!!! Found my thesarus – okies, let’s be a bit more specific shall we? It really is atrocious, abominable, ghastly, distressing, deplorable, abhorrent, revolting, loathsome and disheartening to say the least! 👿 *i could go on and on but i’ll save some, shall i?*
