I just finished her this evening, and I’m pleased with the way she turned out. This is my first PYO unicorn, and I really enjoyed painting her. She took me a little less than a week to complete.

I painted her to look like a blue roan. She has a white blaze, pinking on the nose, a few kissy spots, two white hind socks, hoof striping, ermine spots, and lots of roaning and shading. All was hand painted with acrylics and she has a couple nice layers of satin finish.

Just a suggestion….I would substitute a back view or a view of her other side for your second picture. 😉

Thanks! 😀 The roaning was a little tricky to figure out, but I think I got it okay.
I’ll probably do a red roan next. I actually prefer the reds over the blues. I did blue first though, since I ordered her with blue eyes. It would look better in the end. 🙂
