Commission for darjeb, she loves the rose gold color!
comission for copper83, to match the little cookie dragon I did. 🙂
This one was pure accident…and photos crappily too…but he’s very pretty in person, his undercoat is soft browns and pearl (which doesnt show very well) and his overcoat is purple and blue interferences, layered very lightly. He is unspoken for at the moment and I’m looking for $160 plus shipping for him if anyone is interested. 😀
He fades from pale aqua blue to the pearly white, which has a creamy gold mist over it. the aqua is slightly more pronounced in person than it is in the pics, the antiquing is a hand mixed blue silver. Also up for offers, I’m looking for $160 plus shipping if anyone is interested. 😀 😀January 24, 2008 at 1:46 pm #494048January 24, 2008 at 1:52 pm #658852How I wish I had the money!
The cookie one is really nice. The “accident” is stunning! And the last is beautiful. If I had to pick, I’d have a hard time picking between the last two!
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

Were these airbrushed?January 24, 2008 at 3:39 pm #658854I use a combination of airbrush and paintbrush, but yes, I do use airbrush on all of my pieces usually. 😀
January 24, 2008 at 3:54 pm #658855These are so great! I especially love the cookie keeper! Fantastic! 🙂
January 24, 2008 at 4:04 pm #658856I’m still amazed you did four in under 24 hours! And photoed them to boot! How long did each take you?

My art: featherdust.comJanuary 24, 2008 at 4:08 pm #658857I have no idea…I was literally up all night alternating them out as coats dried. It helps with all-nighters if you dont look at the clock. I heat treat the clearcoat to make it harden faster and harder. that helps. 😀 I know I actually spent the longest on the color shifting one, because i kept trying to get him to do what I wanted. He looked startlingly like your brown one when he started. But then just went bizarre somewhere… It’s funny too, when you turn him just so you can see that brown pattern…
January 24, 2008 at 4:09 pm #658858lol, I was thinking the same thing! I really need to get my airbrush out of the box!
I love the golden brown one. Will he be on Ebay?
January 24, 2008 at 4:10 pm #658859the cookie keeper was a commission, he’s going home with copper83. But i will be doing a couple more, one for me and one for ebay for sure. This color is one I’ll probably end up using alot, I really like it. 😀
January 24, 2008 at 4:35 pm #658860Wow! I pull all nighters too, but they still take me several days of working all day to finish a single one.

My art: featherdust.comJanuary 24, 2008 at 4:40 pm #658861I’ve been told I’m fast, airbrushing and sculpting…maybe I got that from my time as a cake decorator…I dunno. I do know that it was really hard to keep up with the cakes on a busy saturday and only 8 hours to do around 75 birthday cakes and sometimes a wedding cake.
January 24, 2008 at 7:10 pm #658862They are all wonderful, purplecat. My fav is the “accidental” one. 😀
January 24, 2008 at 7:16 pm #658863want him?? he’s available!! *wink-nudge* 😀 😀
January 24, 2008 at 7:23 pm #658864Dagn I wish I had money. Or that I could paint that well. They are lovely.
