I am thinking of doing a tiger color for PC’s Tatzle Cat. something simaler to the fire tiger and magpie tiger. but in order to be able to paint one,I need to know if any one would be willing to buy a tatzle cat painted like that, since they cost more to cast and currently there are no spare castings of them to play with.
I will only be able to try painting this while I am out here at pc’s since shipping blank ones to me once i return to cali will be a pita for shipping cost.
That sounds like a neat idea. I have a tatzel and I love him! However, I couldn’t afford to get another one any time soon 🙁
Ditto that, unfortunately
I love my fire tiger twitter and my tatzle cat 🙂 the tatzle would look awesome in the fire tiger color but I’m broke 😛

Yuh. I know what you mean. IT is a way cute sculpt, but big and costly.
If I do a Fire Tiger tatzle it will be $165
February 2, 2009 at 6:04 pm #664858Important update! Hopefully chirpmunks will be in the store by the end of the week, and there’s a progress shot of the sea serpent on my blog. Here’s a link!
February 2, 2009 at 7:20 pm #664859ah…something perhaps easier to view….Here’s the thread where her progressive pictures are stored. It’s kinda neat to see them all together, in the order they were taken.

WOW! Now I really want a sea serpent! Come to momma…I have a nice spot all picked out for you.
February 3, 2009 at 4:47 am #664862hehe…I’m currently working steadily on her side body scales…and she’s looking soooooo neat. Geez…my fingers are already itching with all the color ideas I have for her once she’s cast! 😆
February 4, 2009 at 4:56 pm #664863Whew…ok, the new revised version of Purplecat Creatives.com is finally done! I’m really pleased with it so far, it should be easier to navigate, and more user friendly as well. For those who are interested, there’s a hidden link to a special gallery hidden within the site. I’m surprised I finished it within two days, whereas the original design took two weeks of fumbling to even get usable. Goes to show I’ve learned quite a bit in the past months. Wander around, explore, and let me know what you think! I’m gonna go get back to work on getting the chirpmunks ready! 🙂
Also, Koishii’s Orchid Mist Rufa Snaildragon is now available in her section of the store!
Here’s a link to the site
February 4, 2009 at 5:09 pm #664864I’m happy to see you have sizes listed for the sculpts. 🙂 But the link for the twittergriffins (and dragonsnails) isn’t working. Are they currently unavailable?
Nice look overall! 😀
February 4, 2009 at 5:11 pm #664865thank you!! *wanders off to fix that…*
February 4, 2009 at 5:23 pm #664866Also when you click an individual page (say the dragonsnail page) it would be nice to be able to get back to the previous section without having to go back to the main page or clicking the back button on your browser. Kind of like when you are in a thread here on the forum (like this one) where you can click up at the top and it will take you back to the “Board index ‹ Miscellany ‹ General Art Discussion” depending on which one you click.
February 4, 2009 at 5:39 pm #664867alrighty! I’ll need to get another button for that, but I’ll add it in as well. 😀
February 5, 2009 at 12:24 am #664868Found the Hidden Gallery! I’m very glad you have this.
Now that you are doing the sea serpent in resin is there any chance that you could cast the original dragonsnail in resin also?

I think she should go back to doing one like it again and do it in resin! i loved how the scales looked.
February 5, 2009 at 12:48 am #664870Sadly…that poor dragon broke…the mold locked into his detailing and he was ripped apart. I don’t even have the original for him anymore, sigh…..he had to be tossed in the garbage…I was really really unhappy over that. That pic in the hidden gallery is all I have left of him. 🙁
