Here is Sleeping Dragon Paperwieght! They should be in the store soon and will be $30 each. This is one that I sculpted myself and I am letting PC cast it. I am pretty happy with the look it has. store link here> http://www.purplecatcreatives.com/specialsales.html
This color has a rainbowish affect from head to tail: red-purple-blue-green and a copper gold spine.
January 23, 2009 at 1:19 am #664827I hate to be a downer on that Sleeping Dragon, but that color really reminds me of Windstone’s peacock. I’d hate for that to cause you problems.

the color placement and even colors used are for the most part actualy not very simaler. the only simalerity is that the purple and blue looook like a simaler shade, but the pattern and colors are very different when compared side to side(even the color shades themselves) with the actual peacocks,(bright and dark peacocks alike). viewing this piece in person is quite different when you get to turn it and see the continuous colors.
the head is a russet red and purple, with the neck being all russet red, the neck closer to the wings is purple to purple blue, then the mid section is blue, and the tail is blue/aqua with the tip being green. the wings are green at the tips, gold in the middle, and red at the top, and of course the spine is a copper gold.
I need to do a better over head shot so this can be seen better, but if you were to uncurl this dragon, the body would be a rainbow of transforming color from the head to tail tip just like this:
rather then different sections of scales being shaded in different colors like the peacock.
January 23, 2009 at 3:47 am #664829did some video to help show what i am talking about with the colors:

I like the wire-wrapped pendant a lot.January 23, 2009 at 2:29 pm #664831Greater Basilisk wrote:The paperweight is pretty, though I also haveto admit that when I first saw it I thought it was a Windstone coiled male dragon.
I like the wire-wrapped pendant a lot.Really? My idea for it was so that from the top it would look like it was sleeping in the shape of heart some what, using one of his wings as a pillow.
put up new photos with better lighting, the colors actualy turned out right in these ones. it should help.
January 23, 2009 at 3:10 pm #664832The new pictures really help. Now it doesn’t make it resemble the peacock quite so much. The video helped a little, but it still looked peacockish there as well.

Yeah, The lighting i was using really made the red look purplish. I had to go outside this morning in the early morning light to get some better photos, that and I think the back ground helped a lot more.
January 23, 2009 at 6:43 pm #664834The new photos do help. He’s a real cutie.
January 23, 2009 at 7:19 pm #664835Wow!!! What an adorable little guy! The size is similar to a curl, but I don’t think it looks like the sculpt nor the peacock coloration at all. That’s just my opinion, but I love him! I’ll be first in line Koishii! I think he looks great! He reminds me more of the love dragons you draw more so then anything.
