I’d love a flock of twittergriffins. Maybe someday. I really admire your work, purplecat.
December 21, 2008 at 6:14 pm #664812Oh! I love the Frost Twitter! He looks like he has a luxurious silver fox coat!

December 22, 2008 at 1:55 am #664814Man, I wish I had extra… there’s a shop not so far away from here with both bear feet and back (at least they did several months ago). Still need dragonsnails!
December 23, 2008 at 7:20 pm #664815Just did a huge image dump…two entries full of sketches on my blog. Back hard at work today, working on detailing the sitting up Chirpunk! 🙂
For those who might need it, here’s a link to my blog. http://purpletabby.livejournal.com/
December 23, 2008 at 9:03 pm #664816Chirpmunk! *heart heart heart* I WILL have one this time! And also perhaps a feathercat…
December 23, 2008 at 10:48 pm #664817December 24, 2008 at 3:42 am #664818I need a sitting up chirpmunk with white wings to go with the other one I got from you. Maybe two, so I can send one to my stepdaughter, Megan.
December 24, 2008 at 8:54 pm #664819The new feathercats are just wonderful! I bought one for my sister for Christmas. 🙂
December 25, 2008 at 12:47 am #664820here are photose of one of the last dream twitters( this one is painted and then i will only paint one more after this) with the new back stripes. they are taken out of the store so you would have to pm PC:
January 19, 2009 at 4:17 pm #664821An update!!!!
I am very nearly done with the chirpmunks. The crouching chirpmunk needs only the backs of her wings detailed, and her feet before they’ll be ready for prototyping. At that point, I’ll cast a couple prototypes, give them a very close inspection and tweak some of the details before I’ll use them to start making molds. Of course, once molds are made, there’s the process of casting and painting, which thankfully isnt nearly so long a process as the sculpting! In the store, I plan on having an option to buy the sitting up Chirpmunk, crouching Chirpmunk….or both of them together as a set, which I’ll discount slightly. They’re close in size to the twittergriffin…which is larger than the original chirpmunk, but closer to life size. They’ll cost $55 apiece when they’re available, or will be offered as a set for $100. 🙂
January 19, 2009 at 6:10 pm #664822Looking forward to seeing them! 🙂
January 20, 2009 at 6:00 am #664823That sounds great!
January 21, 2009 at 10:29 pm #664824A wire wrapped boulder opal! It’s my first attempt, and not so great, but not so horrible either. The boulder opal is mainly matrix, and milky opal, making it great for practice. I never realized how difficult it can be to take a picture of this sort of thing. I’d love suggestions on how to improve. If anyone would like to purchase it, just pm!! I’m asking for $15, which will include shipping. here’s some pics. Tips on wire wrapping are also welcome! 🙂
January 21, 2009 at 10:42 pm #664825Will have something new painted soon! keep a watch for a special post.
Also, I head home on the last day of February so if there is something in the store you want painted by me, place your order because once I go home, I will not be able to paint things from PC as easily as I can right now.
