I’ve been squeakin for weeks for an ema pea old warrior. Where’s my oil?
I’m still dithering about that one.I only have so much oil to slop around.
All these squeeky wheels, and no time to fix them. π
Sorry I really couldn’t resist.
I’m so glad I got one of the first youngs. I love the intense purple. Maybe I’ll have to get another to find out what exactly is the difference.

The purple got toned down in the production ones because we thought they were WAY TOO PURPLE. They still have the same amount of area that is a “purple” color, but we mixed a little blue in with the purple paint so that it blends a little more easily into the pure blue it lies next to on the dragon .
Does anyone have both kinds?
I felt that the two types looked so similar to each other, one could hardly tell the difference.
No, We don’t plan to paint the intense purple ones again, but ya never know…That’s too bad. I purchase a mother a father dragon from the first batch because the purple made the colors so intense. I’m not really a purple fan either, but it looks so great with the emerald and saphire blue. I thought more purple would look good on the laps too. From the photos it just looks like something is missing. Just my $1.05 worth.
April 26, 2007 at 4:14 pm #566791I personally like less purple :X
April 26, 2007 at 4:19 pm #566792Oh no i loved the purple on them its why i liked them so much, i was offered a scratcher in em pea but it just looked well not as nice put it that way. π
I wanted a mother with lots of purple π
April 26, 2007 at 7:37 pm #566793I prefer them without purple. For one thing, the ones with purple really do closely resemble the newer, brighter peacock really closely, and for another I just like the green/blue look. I drooled so much over the lap dragon in my local store!

This is why I love this forum. We all like different things (and a lot of the same things π ) but in the end it still comes back to our love of Windstones. You guys are great. *having a warm fuzzy moment*
