Since I’m having blog login issues (need to email Melody or John… not sure who has access to fix it), I’ll post here.
I like both purple curlies, but I have to say that my preference is for the curlie on the right with the multi-toned look. You’re right. Purple is hard to work with in paint sometimes to begin with, but Dioxazine purple is hard to work with when used with other colors, like blues and reds. I tried using it as a main purple color once when trying to mix purples for an art project when I was starting out using acrylics years ago. The results were quite interesting! It was a misty morning of purples.
Eye color.. I like how the blue works, and while red looks interesting, perhaps gray or maybe even the pale yellow (maybe even a brighter yellow) might work? A shade of green would be interesting to see.
I love the color….want it on a fledgie! I think bright green eyes would look great! A little mardi-gras dragon!

I’m more partial to the dragon on the right, but make the eye color red or bright yellow (analogous and complimentary colors)

OH WOW!!! I just saw those Amethyst Dragons!!!! *swoon!* So pretty, but with GREEN OR STRAW eyes! Oh man!!! That would be STUNNING! I like both colors, all I know for sure is I NEED one! 😀

I’m worried I’m going to miss them when they hit the store – they go sooo fast I’ve missed every single curlie batch :shout: :shout: :shout: . I’d be happy with just one, but I don’t want to pay 100 or 200 bucks for one on ebay or something. Just keeping the fingers crossed (and eyes, and toes …) and hope I don’t miss them.

Oh she’s pretty! I prefer the one on the right, but I think with maybe green eyes (just not the olive green color, more like a …. more of a bluish green then a yellow green if you know what I mean). 😀 Absolutely beautiful! I hope they make production! 😀

I like either one, but think the red eye and jewel stand out better. I’m just glad a lavender eye isn’t being used on this one. Yellow would probably be cool though.
I agree with the others who mentioned it… a coiled mother in this amethyst color would be just gorgeous!
