November 5, 2008 at 5:39 pm #738678I wants one. 😆 Course I’d also like an Akita but silly hubby thinks we are too broke for more pets and that we have enough already 🙄 C’mon it’s only 14 so far and only four of those are dogs 😆

November 5, 2008 at 8:46 pm #738683I overnighted a Shiba Inu for a transport once. She was a very nice girl. I might eventually like to adopt one, but I need to wait until my boys have passed. They hunt and kill anything under 40 lbs. No new (permanent) doggies for me until some of crew has gone to the Rainbow bridge. Hopefully tht won’t be for many years though. My oldest is 7 he’ll be 8 in January.

I only knew one personally, and he was a hoot. He came in to board at the last clinic I worked at quite regularly, and he loved to see everyone and had ‘his’ cage he would go to. He was a lot of fun, but I’m still stuck on shepherds (and sometimes Irish setters. I don’t think I’ve ever met a bigger clown of a breed)
November 6, 2008 at 1:21 am #738686I have huskies and GSDs. I love the Gsds but I think the husky is probably my breed. They have such personality. Perhaps a husky/GSD cross. The best of both breeds. Although that little Shiba was really cute.

Sun Dragon Koi #3November 6, 2008 at 3:17 am #738687Such cute puppies. They always look cute when they sleep, not so much when they are tearing through your garbage can…. 😆
I like larger breeds myself, although I have fallen in love with a few smaller dogs in the past (including one Chow X who was ADORABLE… the brindle color, the long fluffy fur… wow!).
