This delicious and different
Pumpkin Pie Cake
24 oz. can pumpkin
4 eggs
big can of evaporated milk
1 1/4 c sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp nutneg
Mix together & pour into an ungreased 9″ x 13″ pan. Sprinkle over with yellow cake mix then one cup melted margarine and one cup choppeed nuts(whatever kind you like). Bake at 350 degrees for one hour
Also if you have never tried Abby’s Famous Pecan Pie try it. It is printed in the Dear Abby column every year around Thanksgiving. If you don’t see it ask and I’ll type it or PM you with it. The recipe says bake 45 to 50 minutes but when I took it out of the over at 50 minutes I had syrup that was good over ice cream. I had to bake it about 1 1/2 hrs. before it was solid. If you are baking it in an electric oven it does takes more time than gas.
