O M G!! 😮 I am in LOVE with that blue dragon relief! Not that I could afford him, but I am curious as to whether he is for sale. 😳

      Wow, thanks 😀 .
I never honestly never thought about selling my reliefs  . I wouldn’t know what to charge anyways – I suck at pricing my artwork 😳 .
Maybe I should reconsider that ….

      You sculpted that? Wow, purpleturtle!
And yeah, your art is definitely sellable. Go for it!

That is some awesome sculpting there. Maybe your dragon (the bust one) is a grazer 😉 . I agree about sellability, they would sell.

Here is my latest completed project. It’s the dragon bust that I had been working on. He proved to be a really difficult bugger to photograph 🙄 . He’s got a lot of interference flashes of green and gold that are not showing very well and for some reason his colors look a little washed out in the pics . I tried to adjust for that…
I was looking for a foresty type dragon. I tried to make his scales look leaf-like in appearance and the mane is supposed be reminiscent of moss. I originally was going to permanently attach his wings, but decided to make them removable. It makes him less cumbersome to pack if I ever decide to sell him.

Very nice! Great idea about the wings, too! 🙂

Wooooow how beautiful… 😮 I love the furry mane and how textural he is!

I’m so curious… did you sculpt the wing membranes over mesh or is it some kind of plastic? It looks so cool!

Thank you 😀 .The wings start of as a wire skeleton-like armature. Then I strengthen and bulk out the wire with apoxie-sculpt. Then I apply layers of tissue that is covered in glue which water-down and apply with a brush. It’s kinda like paper-mache. That’s how I form the wings’ membranes.

His head and neck are super scuply. I bulked it out with a aluminum foil armature. The wings, as mentioned are wire, tissue paper, glue and apoxie-sculpt. His eyes are glass and he has lamb wool for his mane.
