That’s what I was thinking. I can see how it might be more beneficial to the company to get back orders for “brick and mortar” stores fulfilled before moving on to something that really only benefits online/forum collectors.There really haven’t been any griffin, small dragons, or much of anything else for almost a year now 😥 It makes me very sad

This piece has a nice flowing appearance and the possibilities of colors and patterns are endless. I’m looking forward to getting one (or two) when the are available…and I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with when they paint theirs!!

I absolutely LOVE Phoenix, and I read most the posts – is this going to be a paint your own or something? I wish NOT! I mean, I can’t paint and would so much rather just have one Melody painted! lol That is the most beautiful creature I’ve seen in a long time, since the Stripey Griffin!!!
I better RUN AND HIDE from all you painter peoples!!!!

I absolutely love the colors Melody used on that PYO. She’s right – gray phoenixes are few and far between. I really really really want to paint one myself.

I’ve been waiting for another feathered PYO for a while now…I mean I love all the others, not like I do the Griffin though…So yeah, feathers are nice…But I really want more of the old PYO sculpts. *pouts*

I actually agree with you! I can’t paint to save my life, I’d only ruin the poor thing, but I’d love to have a prepainted one!
There’s alot of us painters out there, and some are very good! Commissions will be available I am sure. So, then you may get one already painted! 😉

But, are you all assuming Phoenix is a PYO piece? I didn’t see that posted anywhere but I certainly can’t seem to find everywhere so it could be somewhere……..and isn’t it a rule in general you aren’t supposed to paint one like The Creator, and if I love the Phoenix as it is, then seems like I won’t get one like it if it’s a PYO piece… LOL
