Okay guys I need some cheering on! It’s finals week. I have grading up to my OW he’s in the closet and I don’t want to. I want to see Wolverine, read some graphic novels, some real novels, watch some anime…clean, basically anything but grade. Help me!procrastinate? naw bad idea

Sun Dragon Koi #3You can do it! This coming from a fellow procrastinator who is slowly getting off her duff and getting the online database caught back up. Just do it in small chunks…little bit here, little bit there. Then it won’t seem quite so overwhelming. And don’t forget to reward yourself for work finished. For example I plan on doing as much as I can on the database tonight until American Idol comes on and then take a break. I’m hoping if I keep steady between now and then I can get another week or two worth of data entered.
Do like me: after so many, I can read for an hour. Then after so many, I can have a snack… Go, girl!

You can do it!! You just have to get engaged in what you’re doing. When I’m in a slump, I love a can of diet soda. Just enough caffeine to feel alert and like getting something done. (Sorry it’s not…healthier!)
And I love lists! Make a list and pick a couple easy things to warm up on, take a SHORT break, then tackle the big thing. Once you get a little momentum into the project it won’t feel so tough to knock out!
Finals suck! But they end!
Thanks guys. i got through the last of the essays last night…I hope. Now onto the exams. i have to have grades up by Friday, and I am so tired of grading. :puke:

I like Avatar. I have all three seasons. But I find that I’d rather watch the pretty pictures than grade the boring stuff. 😳 I can be very easily distracted when I have to do something I don’t want to. Last night for example I watched Bleach and Code Geaos: Lelouch of the rebellion. I taped it Saturday, because I have to get up on Sunday mornings to go to work. Not so much done on the grading front.
On the bright side I have 3 classes completed and 2 left 😮 . SO I’m getting there. :shout:
