Prints? (Melody- Barrdwing has a question for you in here!)

Just curious- how many different prints have you made for sale that have hoofers in them? So far I have only seen two different ones for sale- two pegasi in flight, and a mother unicorn with two babies.

I remember seeing pictures of a unicorn head with blackberries and a unicorn with a young girl sitting next to it in some of the collection photos.

Yep, I have those. I have a unicorn prancing, and a girl with unicorn and the blackberries one. I haven’t posted pics of the other 2 I jsut got recently. 😕 It is in the newest show your collection thread I do believe. 😀

There were lots of unicorn prints; 9 big prints, and 3 small ones. We had 1 large Pegasus, 2 small pegasus prints and there was one print of three normal horses running.

If I ever run across that catalog I have somewhere,and get my scanner fixed I will post a pic of the whole line as it was. Some of the unicorn prints were discontinued very early on, because they didn’t sell too well,(they were kinda awful anyway) so they are not in the catalog.

Oh wow . . . I would love to see those images! 😯 😀 Even the ones you aren’t wild about. The ones that I’ve seen have such incredible linework; I’m trying to chase down other prints, but it’s slow going. Thanks for posting the link to the one on Elfwood: just a wonderful rendition, it truly is. And you’re right about the horn. The horn angle of a “conventional” unicorn wouldn’t have worked nearly so well. What you did with it, on the other hand, carries the motion through wonderfully and gives the whole image tremendous punch. Wow!

I think in the meantime, we collectors should get together and maybe make a sticky thread and post pictures of the prints we own. I know there will be lots missing, but I think there will be at least a few that most people haven’t seen, or haven’t seen much of 🙂
