Hi there,
I was hoping you fine people could give me a rough idea of what these would be worth:
Coiled Dragon (peacock)
Hatching Empress Dragon (white)Both have no boxes and no tags, but other than that are in perfect shape (they just sat on my shelf for a few years). I understand the dragons are “retired”, so if anyone has an accurate assessment of their value, I’d be thankful to hear it.
Thanks a lot.
March 12, 2008 at 12:26 am #677070Are these the ones listed on criagslist?
March 12, 2008 at 12:30 am #677071I put them on CraigsList and have had a number of offers, but want to do a final check on the price, as the range of prices on eBay is confusing me. The whole color/retired thing is confusing. π
Thanks in advance…

Between 10/01/2006 and 11/15/2007 there were 39 “mint” peacock coiled males auctioned on ebay. The higest one went for was $153.83, the lowest $25.50. Average price is $87.54.
In that same time period, there were 5 “mint” white hatching empress dragons auctioned on ebay. The higest one went for was $327.00, the lowest $168.25. Average price is $250.86.

Actually the retired color thing isn’t that confusing. When a color is retired it means that it isn’t being produced anymore. The sculpt will still be produced, just not in the retired color. The only exception to the retired color is if a new sculpt is introduced that the color never came out on. Then Windstone has the option of producing the sculpt in the retired color if they choose.March 12, 2008 at 1:49 am #677073I was looking into that empress but the price went from $60 to $225. Maybe $150 but I’m not gonna gto that high for that piece. I’ll wait.
Breanain, I’m glad you found the forum! πMarch 12, 2008 at 2:08 am #677074Think of it more in terms of retired peices…Not colors…It is easier that way. π And welcome aboard…I think…I been away for a bit, but it’s getting better. π But welcome to the Forums! π
