I need to figure out a way to make my files smaller without losing quality! He isn’t your typical gryphon– but I like the way he came out. Anyway- I am listing him tonight.
mipi thought i should mention– he is supposed to give the impression of a scene– the dark blue flight feathers are meant to look like mountains– and the yellows to look like the sun is about to rise. then the blues are the clouds and sky etc
Wow, what a unique griffen. I love it. It’s something I would have never considered doing. I’d love to see it when it’s finished.

He does look finished and a very interesting concept it is. There was something I couldn’t put my finger on until you mentionned that he is supposed to give the impression of a scene and righ enough I had gotten that impression but wasn’t sure what I was looking at. Very nice.
I think romeodanny might have said that because of the title of your post “preview”. I also thought it was a work in progress from the title until I saw the pictures.
Oh sorry, dosent look unfinished. I’m sorry I had to go back and read again. I thought the description said it was unfinished. 😳

I noticed that when I saw your little pyo dragon (lovely btw) on ebay 😀 I thought to myself that if I won, shipping might not be so bad and it would get here quickly… But then I had to remind myself that I’m saving money for a car 🙁

ooo, that is really neat idea. It reminds me of Indian art. One thing I noticed is you don’t have a griffin on the other side and was wondering what the reason was.

I was wondering if I should put one on that side too but I wanted the person to be able to display with the gryphon or without– do you think it needs on on the other side? Does it look unbalanced?

I actually was thinking he looked like a sunrise or sunset before I saw this comment! Very cool effect – he’s really neat.

thanks for the inputWell I know that I like things to look the same on each side. Maybe even if you put a smaller one further back towards the wings. But also if you say in the auction that if they want one on the other side then you will do that and leave it up to the buyer (only if you want to). But that is my opinion and someone might just like it the way it is.
