Those are AWESOME staves Necron! Do you make them to sell or for personal/family gifts?
i would love to be able to sell a few but with the economy like it is im not going to Ebay them it would just cost me money. I have gifted a few to friends . Every time i go to Renn Fairs , or mayday fairs with them im asked where i buy them from , when i tell them i make them i usually get an offer but the one i posted was my first and a keeper, and usually the one i take with me ..recently i have had my “Yoda” cane since its easier with the baby to pack up. Maybe i will make up cards for when i go to them in case some one is interested .

I highly recommend the idea of making up little business cards or something. That’s how I got info form a guy at the faire this year. He saw me earlier and complimented me on the coat I had been modeling to a friend (I want that coat sooo badly), but I disappeared too quickly for him to have said anything then. He caught me earlier and I found that he had wonderful ‘fangs’. He apparently makes them himself and he handed me his card. It indeed works! 😀 I’m looking into getting fangs cast from him (apparently he’s a makup artist).

I would most definately make some cards! Also offer that if people have skulls/bones/crystals etc. that you can use them…I know quite a few people out here that like custom staves done and have “stuff” they want incorporated…just an idea 😆 Good luck!

October 10, 2008 at 1:21 pm #735315I can’t show pictures of my latest WIP – painting my son’s room. I’m on the wrong computer to pull things off my camera and resize. I’ll try to remember to do it when I get to my house later tonight. His room is looking really nice. It’s got three of the four stripes finished now (barring a second coat of paint on the yellow stripe if needed).

Hey Drag0n!!! We saw a Furry at the BlizzCon today! He was dressed like a Talbuk (one of the creatures in World of Warcraft) I couldn’t remember your name to ask if they knew you tho…..=(

lol, my latest stuff would be a big pile of everything. If I had fish eyes on the side of my head rather than in the middle I’d even be simultaneously doing stuff with each hand…October 14, 2008 at 6:35 pm #735321The most current of my insanity:
A pastel drawing I’m working on. The colors are taken from my cat.
And the necklace I just finished. It’s tiger’s eye with midnight blue and silver beads.
October 15, 2008 at 2:09 am #735322My latest project is that I’m writing a paper on Gulliver’s Travels for a conference in mid-November. Here’s some of the library books I got for research, as well as a journal essay, and the primary text, which I own. I also included a peek at the proposal I submitted to present the paper.
October 15, 2008 at 2:17 am #735323I have a few cross stitches in progress. I don’t know if I’ll ever finish them.
The one was for my aunt that passed away. When she died so did the muse. I’m almost done that one, all I had left was two flowers and ribbons. I just can’t seem to make myself work on it.
Another is of two horses that I was working on when I “broke” my knee. I lost it for a bit after but, the cats one day found it for me and left a trail of embroidery floss leading to the cross stitch. 😆
There’s more. I can’t seem to finish anything recently.
October 15, 2008 at 6:45 am #735324Here’s mine
It’s a old rocking horse I’m ‘rescueing’. I’ve rebuilt the head, the size is the same as the old one but the shape is better now and it’s now in the final filling and sanding stage. She is approx 18″tall, 36″long and 9″wide. I’m planning on painting her as a blue raon with fringe mane and tale and black rocker -
