alright so a month ago i was in the er i had spent 12 hours throwing up uncontrollably. i was told it was possibly appendicitis and that i needed to be careful.

so starting on tuesday i was not feeling to great and was out with mom, koi, and a friend when suddenly i felt dizzy guts hurt like everything wanted out and i was sweating. i went to re-leave myself but when i was done i was still very white and sweating and felt like i was going to fall over. since then i have been hit by dizzy spells and when i eat it’s aggravates my intestines. today i sneezed and received a sharp pain on my lower right side and seems to now be persistently sore when i walk. i’m not sure whether to assume that it could be ovarian cysts again (though they would not explain the intestinal pains) or that it is the appendix. plus there was nothing to explain why i threw up so much last month and i didn’t eat anything that could cause the intestinal aggravation so there is an enigma in the mix and i am starting to believe thats it’s really the appendix.

and yay i’m home alone today 😕 i did call a friend and asked her to be my baby sitter for the day in case things go south .

What they said. Go to the doctor now. That is not normal.

Not sure if you were ever checked for this, but just as a thought (since my aunt – by marriage – and cousin have this), but any history of diverticulosis? Just a thought (certain foods they can’t eat or they get really painful attacks, like strawberries – it’s the seeds, caraway seeds, some nuts…). Regardless, go to the doctor!

um… yeah, go to the doctor!!! :shout: we don’t want anything to happen to you! :nea:

Yea, Shaun had appendicitis and it can take up to a month to develop to the point where it’s near that bursting point. His actually did burst and prior to that he was in horrendus pain for about a week. When he finally couldn’t take it anymore it was almost too late. He has a really bad scar because things had to move very quickly since it was very late in the game, but definatly get it checked out.

My sister’s boss had the same problem with the sweats, paleness, and throwing up when he had gaul stones/kidney stones… I don’t remember which is was and he had severe pain in his abdominal area.

The lastly, have you ever had surgery before? Do you have any kind of surgical scars in that area from a previous operation of any kind? My friend Kathy also had a massive problem soundign very much what you’re going through. It went on for about 6 months, steadily getting a little worse. She had gotten that gastrohic bypass surgery to help her loose weight and she just assumed it might be her stomach adjusting, so she just never had it check out till it got REALLY bad. She had also had a seasection about 5 years prior as well.
Well, because of her past surgery (apparently your scars continue to grow on the inside of your body for years and years even after the outter scar is healed. What had happened was, her own body had been scarring internally and wrapping her intestines around the scars in her body until eventually they got twisted to the point she couldn’t even keep anything down. She’s fine now, it took about a week for her to heal after they removed all the scar tissue, but anyway. It was a though since you mentioned you had cysts before.

This just happened to my coworker. She had a kidney replacement a few years ago. The scarring eventually got so bad she had to have part of her intestine removed.

Please take caution… wishing you the best in all of this. Big Hugs!

i haven’t had any type surgery like that, but i did have a cyst on my ovary blow up 2 month ago. and when they did ct scans they saw another slightly big one. i don’t know if that one ever went away.
can something like that cause paleness and such?

Paleness can be a symptom of many things medical. It can be that you just haven’t had enough sun, simply genetic for those extremely fair skinned, or simply just be your body saying something isn’t right. Stress (mental, physical, emotional), illness, an over exertion of the body, etc. can all cause paleness. I get pale as a ghost just randomly, which freaks my mom out to no end when it isn’t related to anything (and I have no anemia or blood pressure issues). Heat, lack of sleep, or too much stress will cause me to get pale really easily too. It’s a pretty general symptom actually, but still not always something to just shrug either. It’s your body telling you something, sometimes minor, sometimes moreso.

Kidney stones… my twin brother has those. You’d swear someone was tearing out his gut when he gets one, and they aren’t even very big the ones he has. He’s a wuss for pain tolerance anyways (which doesn’t help him at all when he gets these), but he’s almost passed out from the pain before and will double over from it. Cysts can be equally as bad. It could be a lot of things, but definitely needs to be looked at, whatever is causing the issue.

I sure hope you get yourself checked out, what happened to you a couple months ago when you had a cyst on your ovary blow up????? Are you having the same kind of pains/issue (the paleness, sweating, pain) and what did they do for you? Did the cyst that ‘broke’ just leak out and go away? That sounds serious to me!

Doctors are supposed to see you when you are alarmed at something that is happening, even if it’s minor in the end. We all feel like we are bothering the doctors but really, it’s their job. I took my daughter once because she had a bumpy rash around her lips and of course we were concerned. The doctor said right off the bat – she has chapped lips. 😡 We were a bit embarassed, but frankly I still think the doc was wrong :cough:…. the rash was not on her lips, but around them! lol

I hope in the end you might laugh it off….but until then, go see your doctor 😉

i am planning on seeing a doctor. with the cyst blowing up there wasn’t to much to worry about. but they can get to the point of needing to be removed because they can get rather large. i feel a bit better this evening but i’m definitely not going to assume i’m ok. this has been way to fishy for me to feel comfortable with. 😕
