Heyla Melody!
I’ve recently gotten onto an Okapi kick… and I was curious… since you have sculpted Meerkats… any thought to doing another African animal…. The Okapi???
They are rare… and were once considered “mythical” creatures… then known only as “short necked Giraffes”…
Just curious if the thought had ever popped into your mind… or maybe you had some sketches… 😀

Ok, I gotta ask – what about a gazelle or deer laying down? You could some amazing stuff with the long graceful horns of an impala in gold plate.
Well, when the PYO Unicorn comes out, you could paint it to look like an Okapi! 😀 My mom was reading over my shoulder and said, “Is that supposed to be a real animal?”
I can already hear the reports of broken impala figurines just looking at those long horns. Nice idea, but somehow I doubt a single one would survive shipping.
send them with the horns unattached and have them a GYO….Glue Your Own…..hehe
Martha Carey’s elephants are that way the come with little brown poo/clay that you stick the horns in with….my sister has those…and I have a few also
I’ve been wating to paint a kirin like an okapi for about a month now…soon as I get the money to buy more PYOs for myself!! 😈 I love okapis…they’re so purrrrdy.
