NO!!!!! 😆 😆 😆 I’m not taking anymore snow pix this spring/summer unless it snows on the 4th of July (which the locals say happens here every other year and since it didn’t do it LAST year I guess this is the year it’s supposed to….) I’m so sick of snow I could just holler 😡 I really miss green growing things…..
twindragonsmum 😀
Does this make it better?
Yes, thank you!!!!!! More please!!!!! 😀 😀 😀 It must be spring here because the American Goldfinches have shown up along with the Robins and Cedar Wax Wings. We also have a Flicker couple courting and enlarging a hole in one of the stumps for a nest. The Goldfinches are bright, bright lemon yellow and they are driving my cats ‘berzerkaloid’ as my boys say 😆 😆 😆 I’ll try to get pix, but they don’t hold still for long…..
Stay dry!!!!twindragonsmum 😀

😆 To me that is anything but soothing to the ears! At the present moment that is…I prefer to hear it somewhere else. 😆
I have no doubt about that!
April 23, 2008 at 2:50 am #687633So sorry to hear about the flooding. You would think they would build the wall taller so this wouldn’t happen again and again. I do hope the water goes down soon and you don’t have to leave.
April 23, 2008 at 5:36 pm #687634I hope the water goes down and you don’t have any major damage. The pictures of the flowers are beautiful

It’s going up steady.
Went up again during the night and now we are going to get some rain… 😯 hopefully not to much.
Came back from work and took these pictures:Our road is starting to flood

The house is still untouched 😀April 23, 2008 at 8:05 pm #687639Well at least that is good news! How much higher before it gets in the house?
April 23, 2008 at 10:37 pm #687640How deep can it get on the road before you have to get out? 😕
April 23, 2008 at 11:18 pm #687641Ok…did I say that the house was untouched so far???
I take that back!
😯 It just reached the house at some places and on the side of my bedroom (also birdroom).
I’m still going to stay until there is only a foot left for it to penetrate the patio door or that we have to shut down the power.
Funny right now I’m calm…that’s not normal 😯 .
I don’t know if I should laught at that or not 😕 .
I took pictures but the batteries just died and I don’t have any other charged at the moment.
So late tonight or early tomorrow morning I will post pictures then I’m off for work since I start at 7:30 AM.
Take care everyone! 😀April 23, 2008 at 11:21 pm #687642starbreeze wrote:How deep can it get on the road before you have to get out? 😕
We have 2 entrances to our place so one of them will still be accessable by the time the other is too deep…BUT that side has alot of mud so it would not be for long. By then we will probable have to park elsewhere and walk over.
April 24, 2008 at 12:09 am #687643Take care!!!
April 24, 2008 at 3:29 pm #687644I’m so sorry BDW. The pictures are amazing, but so scary. I was living in Illinois in ’93 when the Mississippi flooded and we were being excused from classes (university) to help people move out of their homes. Raging rivers are recognizably dangerous, but it must feel much more wearing for it to be such a slow, unstoppable thing. (Like the videos of people in Hawaii with the lava flows just creeping slowly toward their homes and knowing there’s nothing you can really do.)
I really hope the water starts receding soon and your home is not damaged.April 24, 2008 at 5:21 pm #687645Take care and make sure you get out OK if necessary but I hope it stops and you don’t have to.
