Melody, are the Burnt Sugar Poad™’s eye sockets suppose to be painted black before you glue the eyes? I notice that the first batch of Poads™ had the black but mine is from the second batch and does not.
        The one in the store

        Mine from second batch

I really need to keep a sample from every batch I hope to do more of. The first batch of sugar poads(tm) I did I hand painted the eyesockets black . This took longer that painting the whole poad ™! So, on the second batch I just airbrushed a light brown in the eyesockets.

I like the black sockets better. It’s like Poad eyeliner… makes the eyes pop.

The eyes do look better with a black background.
