Here’s the pegasus with the colour scheme Pleins Feux – my personal set.
The wings gave me a really hard time! Initially, that’s not at all what they were supposed to be like; I wanted a single colour to avoid “overbusiness”, but he wouldn’t hear of it…

Thise are beautiful! It doesn’t really read as ‘too busy’ to me- and I’m no too-busy fan. It just looks like the body pattern carries onto the wings, helping to everything together.

Thanks! I was actually surprised that it worked and I’m glad you confirmed I wasn’t biased 😁

Bumping this to answer Lokie’s question about the Pegasus size (I didn’t want to post a pic in Mimi’s PYO thread).

I took a pic of them together above.

The Pegasus and the unicorn are almost the same size. The Pegasus is chunkier in a way, a bit Clydesdale-like, whereas the unicorn is daintier. I find they display well together and complement each other nicely.

Such a lovely paint job on the pair!

And it’s a great comparison photo. I like how each sculpt has their own identity. Its especially apparent with the same color scheme. Very cool!

I love how unique the patterning looks on both sculpts. It reminds me of cuttlefish, or tropical frogs. 🙂
