I must have an answer tomorrow for someone.
Just out of curiousity,
If and only if you were interested in these, how much would you be willing to pay (not including shipping) for a set of these dragon bookends?
They sell for $53.00 each in the store.
These are used and have some damage to them.
Each have a deep groove in them of about 0.7cm, they have broken pieces and chips. Also some previously repaired with paint (not resculpt) at a couple of places.
I just want your opinion. Please view the pictures below:

June 18, 2008 at 3:01 am #715372I’d rather buy them new, since they are not a particularly hard to find item.
I can’t see the pictures, all I see are the X boxes.
June 18, 2008 at 3:53 am #715373I think 60.00 for the set would be very reasonable, considering the amount of damage they have…I’d pay that 😉 😉 , if I had the money to spend 🙄
June 18, 2008 at 4:10 am #715374I wish I had money too, since I’ve been wanting a set of these for quite some time. I guess I’ll just have to wait a bit.

June 18, 2008 at 4:17 am #715375Maybe you guys misunderstood me, they are not for sale but if you were interested in them, how much would you be willing to pay for them?
June 18, 2008 at 4:56 am #715376I agree with the others, IF I were to be buying them, I’d be willing to pay $60 for the set.
June 19, 2008 at 1:24 am #715377So do you all agree that $60 is the max that should be given on these concidering their condition, not $93 ?
June 19, 2008 at 1:28 am #715378They’re only offering just over 10% off for that type of damage? Wow…
93$ for both is too much, but I’m not sure I would say 60$ is enough… that’s a tough call.
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

I host the feedback lists, which are maintained by drag0nfeathers.
http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmJune 19, 2008 at 1:43 am #715379I’d say $60 max, yeah. o.o; Even that’s pushing it, but only because I’m not interested in owning a pair. 6.6
June 19, 2008 at 1:44 am #715380No she said they were not chiped not broken not previously repaired and they went for $93.
But they are chiped, broken and have deep scratches/grooves in them and they were previously repaired with just paint (not resculpted) at places.
I sent her pictures and she totaly disagree with my assesment…what is to disagree… the pictures says it all.
“I totally disagree with your assement. I carefully looked at these pieces and saw no repairs.”I sent her the following:
The dragons were damaged and previously repaired.
I will send you pictures of them via your email.
You can see for yourself.
To ship it back for just a partial refund (without the shipping cost both ways) I would lose $68 over this.
That is not acceptable.
I’m sure we can work something out.
When you view the pictures you will see the one from your auction, I circled a scratch that I thought was just the way it was painted, no it’s definitly a deep groove. Please view the pictures.
Thank youNow she is willing to offer a discount and asks me how much.
And sent me this message:
What would you feel is a fair discount? I still am not in complete agreement, but I do just want to settle the issue. Please let me know.???how much
I don’t want to be unfair but she was not straight forward with me since the begining by telling me they were mint and are not.
So that is why I’m asking you guys
June 19, 2008 at 1:55 am #715381Hmm…can you find out how much it would cost to have them repaired and then ask for that price (and shipping to and from Kyrin) to be returned?
June 19, 2008 at 2:02 am #715382I still say $60. >.>; Since you’re into them, I guess a max of $75. That’s all I’d pay for a non-mint set of bookends that are still easily available. Especially since she said they were mint, and they weren’t! I can’t abide false advertising. 9.9

I can repair them myself but the point is she did not tell me the truth. They were not broken in the shipping since there was noting in the wrap. When I emailed her about it she did not agree that they were not mint and after seing the pictures she still does not agree 100% that they are damaged and were previously repaired but is now willing to give some money back.
