Hello Melody,
I have an orange-eyed, clear diamond green emperor in mint condition. By mint condition I mean there are no chips and only minor paint scratches. My question to you is How many of theses are out there? I also would like your opinion on what this guy is worth? A price range of sorts. Please help me. Thanks.

December 31, 2011 at 2:33 am #867680I dont have any idea, but if you find out I am interested. If the price is up there, if you are willing I could make payments. Good Luck I am sure someone more experience at this will help you, Happy New Year.
December 31, 2011 at 2:37 am #867681Hopefuly Melody wont mind me answering this-but I am guessing she will say “I dont know”. Windstone didn’t officially produce orange eyed emerald dragons. They were a mistake. My guess is that PROBABLY Windstone was calling the old green dragons “green” and then calling the emerald dragons “green” while they thought of a name-the painters thought “okay, green dragons get orange eyes” and bada bing. For a while, I had the only known orange eyed emperor, but lately theyve been popping up more and more. So far, there have been found, including yours 3 or 4-but there could be 100 out there-we dont know yet.
Price range-I paid $300 for mine in mint condition, but it was on ebay and I dont think anyone knew what it was, and it was right before Christmas, so people weren’t spending money on Windstones. I traded him for a limited edition old warrior, which may have been around $600. It depends on who is looking and how badly they want one 😉 they are very very rare though!
Other pieces, that I can think of, that have been found in the orange eyed emerald variety are…
male
mother
hatchling
emperornot sure if there has been a young, definatly no old warriors or laps found yet.

I would recommend posting a picture; it’ll help getting a price range.

Please read what Wolfen posted. They are out there but no one really knows how many. 😉 Or how to price them.
*** Always looking for Brindles..*** AWD Pieces **** Lavender Coiled Mother with Globe**** if you have one you would like to sell or trade please contact me ?
January 1, 2012 at 12:44 am #867756Yup, I don’t know!
BUT the fact that he is one of the rare orange eyed ones may make him more valuable.
You can advertise him on here and see what offers you get, like all other collected things, it is a matter of who will pay what for him!
A diamond in his forehead? Did they have white jewels?January 1, 2012 at 12:47 am #867758It’s a clear stone not white. I have a hatcher and a male.

January 3, 2012 at 4:51 am #867953Redbarron777, you need to post pictures. Your Emperor is out of the ordinary, and people are confused as to what you really have. If you need help, let me know via PM. I will send my email address so you can send your pictures to me; then I can post them here for you. I think anyone who has responded here and knows how to post pictures in our updated forum would also post them for you.

Does your emperor dragon look anything like this?

I’d still recommend taking a photo of YOUR emperor, so that people may see him before making offers. 🙂 You are far more apt to get more offers if people see the individual piece that they are trying to buy!

My art: featherdust.comJanuary 3, 2012 at 10:01 pm #868036Yup, that was my Emperor. Another forum member now has him. Mine had champagne colored gems, like the rainbow dragons, not white/clear.
Here are a few more pics of the one I used to have
that last shot shows his head gems.
PINK gems in the old green dragons? Ive had 3 and all of mine had/have purple
