Just a reminder that should you ever receive an item from us that you feel has a defect, to please let us know immediately! The best way to advise us to to email me at service@windstoneeditions.com with a picture of the defect, or to telephone us at (800) 982-4464. We don’t always see posts to the forum, so that is not a good way to advise us, and I don’t always see my “PM”s – please email or call.

If you have received a defective item we will make every effort to replace it for you. We will also make every effort to avoid that defect in the future, so it’s important for us to know if we are missing a flaw, even if you find the flaw charming and don’t want to exchange your figurine. Everyone here trys very very hard to keep our quality very high and we all constantly look for defects – but it’s remarkable how something can slip by several sets of eyes unnoticed. Our figurines are handmade, by many pairs of hands, cuddled, talked to and loved from their birth in the casting department until they get tucked into their boxes and sent to their forever homes… Perhaps it’s because we all regard them as real live animals that we might miss a wart here, or a tiny paint spatter there! We do not examine them with a magnifying glass – that would probably reveal countless blemishes, just like on any creature – but we do need to know about anything that doesn’t look right, so please let us know by emailing me at service@windstoneeditions.com or calling (800)982-4464.

On the Hippocampus:I noticed on the showside neck by the second shell, there is a small round knot.It is more noticeable when painted in darker colors. It doesn’t bother me but maybe to others?I don’t know if you could do anything about it.It is a pyo afterall.

Every act matters. No matter how small💞

Do you have a photo of it?
