How can you kill a catus? They hardly even need water!! π
December 31, 2006 at 10:42 pm #521795Good topic, Ski. How did you kill it? We-ve been drowning in the buggers evver since I brought home a seedling from my first/grade teacher – like more than 10 years ago. The one plant kept having more annd more little ones and we finally started putting them outside, where the horses probably enjoyed quite a few.

I guess I forgot to water it, though it was looking pretty rough before that. I dont know what happened. It had been struggling ever since I repotted it. I figure if you can cut a piece off a plant, stick it in a glass of water, and have it grow, it should be a little more hardy.

I don’t know how I do it. It’s amazing. You would think a cactus would be fool proof. π π

Well, there is this one that I rescued from a friend on mine. He was gonna see how long it could go without water before it died, cuz he was going back to the states and couldnt take it with him. Paul and I snuck water to it every time we visited. The guy thought the plant lived w/o water for over a month when it was really getting watered. I rescued it… kind of… it is still alive, but its kinda like outta the frying pan and into the fire π It lives and is actually growing, so I guess im doing ok.
