i’d love to see some more pics of them to get a better feel for their tone of pink and how they are shaded…it sounds like there has been a little variation, so i wonder how this new batch looks in comparison……

yeah it would be interesting to know….it kind of seems like that look totally different in different light….

Mine is darker as well. Not a lot darker, but a bit darker.

Mine looks a little more shaded, with more of the dark pink along midline shading to a very light pearl pink down towards the belly. Of course, Papercut’s may do the same thing and my monitor is just a bit off. It’s a very nice paint job: the pearl adds a lot, and the contrasting eye and jewel create a lot of pop. Normally I don’t like pink at all: walking by the Barbie aisle at Target makes me want to gag. This dragon is seriously pink, but I like it very much. Go figure! 😛

Yea, it’s the gold antiquing. When I was thinking ‘pink, I was thinking something more along the lines of the white curl, but done in shades of pink. I still like my antiqued pink though, and I’m glad I have it.
