Haha, thanks! I don’t know how well I can paint automobiles, but even then I’d have to hesitate because I have never been so exhausted after finally finishing it! I think this will be the only mural I will ever do! *pants*

Really? I didn’t think of that, but he kind of does! The lion and lamb with the three crosses behind them was my husband’s idea, which I am really glad he recommended! He does have a good mind when it comes to his imagination, but, and he would agree with me, he can’t draw/paint anything! He tried painting the dove, and with my help it turned out looking like a dove, but after that he didn’t want to paint anymore animals. I even tried to get him to do some, but he said that he likes the way I do it. I didn’t want him to feel left out, so I made sure to get his unput, and to see what he thought of each animal, as well as asking for any suggestions.

March 11, 2008 at 7:28 pm #676684It’s a really nice mural, and the layering technique you used on the lion and the dolphins is excellent. The way you showed the light falling on the dolphins is just like it would look underwater. This is great work! π Your youngster is going to have a wall that all the other kids will want for their own rooms; don’t be surprised if you get asked if you’ll paint for them too! π
