I just found out I only owe $57, with the new tax credits. I have usually had to pay closer to $3500 or even as much as $4200. Being self employed and getting hit by those taxes really hurt.

Amazing Nam!I was actually pretty grumpy about having to use my rose pic although I do like it. I searched like crazy for some pics of a hot air balloon light up we went to a few years back. They were awesome pics and I can’t figure where they went so I figured my rose would be better than nothing at all. It’s just one from my yard. I like roses and iris. Last summer I had an invasion of japanese beetles and was half convinced my rose bush wouldn’t make it. I sprayed it with everything and took pics of the one perfect flower I got on that bush. Two bushes did get devoured, but I’ve got fifteen so I ran out of bug spray. I hate rose eating bugs!!!!!
Except that I’ve removed the winner, Reach. Nam asked me to, since it wasn’t copyrighted. Sorry, Griffiness. If you want to see it you could ask Nam, or I could ask Nam for permission to e-mail it to you…

I don’t know if there’ll be another contest. Art Slinger sponsored this one in exchange for possibly making prints of the pictures, so I guess somebody would have to have a Windstone they wanted to trade for artwork…

I will eventually sponser one. I will get a Windstone as a prize, but I will have to wait till I find a hidden auction cheap. Should be soon! 😀
