I know there for a while, you were working on a Phoenix sculpt. Is this project still in the works? (I hope)
I dearly love the Phoenix, and there really aren’t any nice sculpts out there of them.

He has a silicone mold on him but still needs a plaster case made around it. The Phoenix is in the same state of complition as the pyo flapcat, celtic frog, a flion the vampire bat ,the original gothic unicorn, a pebble cat and who knows what else. Jane, the mold maker, plans to get to them soon, but hasn’t had time. I have a feeling that when she does, they will all happen at once.
February 4, 2010 at 6:09 pm #804809What did you decide about the phoenix’s crest? I know you pondered giving it a pewter crest…but I dont recall what your final decision was.

This phoenix is still sculpted with a socket for a pewter crest, but I am planning to re-sculpt him to have a crest laid against his neck. I don’t want to deal with with casting pewter – we have more than enough problems right now!

All at once 😮 . Eep 😮 ! You can tell Jane she can pace herself. I don’t think my pocketbook could take it all at once 😆 ! May one or two a month 😆 .February 5, 2010 at 6:34 am #804814Celtic frog?
