We had a keeshond named Spike. I think the full registered name was Sir Pieter in Kees Elite. If that wasn’t his name than my dad made it up as a joke and it stuck with me all these years.
Before I was born my parents had a poodle named Litlin (?) named so because there were only two pups in the litter a “Bigun” and a little one. You can guess which one my parents had. 😆 They gave him away while my mom was pregnant with me because he snapped at my older brother.
At one time I had a pet turtle rescued after a 100 year flood in Tulsa, OK. I called it Ellen, but my family called it Tripod since it only had three legs. At the same time I also had a goldfish named Lucy.

I have had a cat named Panther (black), and dogs named Kwan, Starfire, Hope and Tristen. Tristen’s breeder stuck him with a name – Pineacres Legend of the Fall but called him Tristen. My b/f calls him pooch or mutt.

November 26, 2007 at 7:36 pm #639367Well, when I was little we had a few Labs and bulldogs. The black lab was Czar, and the chocolate lab was Reggie. Bulldogs were Jake and Louie. We also had 2 parakeets named Peewee and Terry. I loved Peewee’s Playhouse when I was little… so of course I named the birds.
My Boston Terrier, which only lives with my parents now since I moved away, his name is Deuce. He’s my favorite dog. I just got to see him over the weekend for the holiday. He got fat since I last saw him… but he’s a cutie. My current dog here with me and my husband is a Bassett named Schatzie… which isn’t a bad name. I think it’s pretty, and fits her well. She can be a little terror sometimes, but she’s growing on me. She’ll be 1 year old in another 2 months.
