I didn’t know it was a quirk to talk to animals… That’s another one of mine, then. But it’s less quirky than personifying machines.
December 11, 2007 at 3:35 pm #644629I thought everyone talked to animals…so add that one on for me too…..Plus I’ll talk to my artwork, cursing it when it’s not cooperating and praising it when it does what I want. 😳

Hmmm… Son of Sam talked to dogs…
Hah!!!! I bet you talk to your dogs, your kitten, your rabbit…. 😛If cursing them counts as talking to them, then you got me.
(J/K! I love my pups:) 😛

I talk to my Aircraft. I tell them what lovlies they are and how good they are and how those silly pilots just dont know how to treat them and thats why they break. I think it keeps them flying.

Well… I know the garage door opener hates me!

December 11, 2007 at 3:56 pm #644633When I’m stressed I buy things. That’s how I got my Windstone collection (I was writing my master’s thesis).
Also, going to the bathroom has to be the very last thing I do before I leave home or go to bed. If I end up waiting for someone else after I go, I have to go again, whether I have to GO or not. I have to go through the motions, or else I obsess about it.
If I touch something gross, I have to wash my hands. Maybe 4 or 5 times. Like one time I accidentally touched a slug. I washed my hands once, but I could still “feel” it on me. So I had to wash again until the feeling was gone.
I’m a bit OCD. Can you tell?
December 11, 2007 at 3:57 pm #644634😆 Slugs are sooo cute, though!! 😆

omg me too O.O
Speaking of bathrooms, I have an unnatrual fear of them. Not like eww, germy/dirty fear, but like weird creepy situations my imagination comes up with x_X I’d post them, but I don’t want to creep people out with the freakish things my brain torments me with while I’m trying to pee or wash my hands, lol.
Also, because of it, I can only comfortably shower with a glass door or clear curtain. If I can’t see through the curtain I’m constantly peaking out to make sure a murderous Gumby hasn’t come through the mirror to get me or anything like that x_X I wish I was joking.
December 11, 2007 at 4:04 pm #644638Like things coming up through the drain pipes? Drain pipes are scary! 😯 😀
December 11, 2007 at 4:04 pm #644639I don’t see any of my habits weird at all myself… But I have noticed that some people have considered me weird because I like to modify gas masks. I love painting them in different colors and decorating them with whatever I happen to come up with.
…But yeah, I like to call that “imaginative”, not “weird”. 8)December 11, 2007 at 4:05 pm #644640DantheDragon wrote:emerald212 wrote:Also, going to the bathroom has to be the very last thing I do before I leave home or go to bed. We had a rat that used to get into the community bathroom at work and eat the soap. We found out he was climbing in thru the toilet !! He would leave little muddy rat tracks all over the rim 😡 I thought about that for months every time I had to pee. Stupid rat. Mr. Joy finally got rid of it. My shower curtain also has a clear pane at eye level. 😉

December 11, 2007 at 4:19 pm #644642I yell at my comuter when it is moving to slowly to suit me.
I used to own a corvette that had problems with it’s burgler alarm system. It had a computer chip in the key and if there was even a speck of dust on it the car wouldn’t start and you had to wait 3 minutes to try to restart the car agaain and again and again. When it did that I used to pound on the steering wheel and tell it how much I hated it. I got rid of it for that reason.
I also talk to my dog. I often tell him how smart he is to not only understand dogaleese but english as well. (is dogaleese a word?)
