This is a beautiful horse breed, American Cream, the only draft horse to originate in the US. It is a lovely medium cream coat with light cream/white mane and tail, and amber eyes. Very very simple colors to paint, also subtle and lovely.

The coloring of the American Cream reminds me of Palominos.

80’s hair and metal for sure. I was also a closet 80’s dance music fan….I loved (and still love) Men Without Hats and Dead or Alive. 😳 πŸ˜†

The 80’s were great years for me, too. There were tons of bands playing every weekend and the guys were prettier than most of the girls! πŸ˜† Thank goodness we made it past the “grunge” years. A lot of the music was good, but none of them ever washed their hair. Yuck!

I didnt have 80s hair (my hair may be a lot but it’s thin so I couldnt POOF it out and if I feathered it, I had to use a hole can of Stiff Stuff (remember that brand of hair products?!) spray to make anything stay put… for an hour πŸ™„

Love those bands. Poison is my favorite but it also helps being friends with the front man πŸ˜€ And NO, I never slept with him! So yea, Im in the minority of girls in the USA that havent! 😈 Thank goodness we made it through grunge. I was in college then and it swooped in and knocked hair bands on their butts, like, overnight. Had to take a shower anytime they came on the radio. I can pinpoint that as the time that I started listening to my tapes, mixes and CDs more than the radio. Now, I never listen to the radio except for weather warnings or 80s Weekend Music stations.

I remember talking 80s speak too (tho not Valley)

Poison is one of the few 80’s bands that comes around and is still worth seeing. He still puts on a good show and hasn’t lost his voice. He should have skipped the reality show, though. πŸ™„ πŸ˜† I have always been a Bret fan….my Rosey Bourke that passed away was even named after him. πŸ˜†

Yea, they have toured every summer since 99, save for 2005 but he also does his solo tours. Whenever he’s in FL, Im usually touring with him to help out.

He does lose his voice very easily. The reason their set stays the same year after year (which gets on my and MANY Poison fans nerves) is that they feel they cant hit certain ranges in their older songs. Or, a particular member (never Bret tho), takes issue with the song and refuses to do it. I know every Poison fan wants to hear Life Loves A Tragedy live and soon!

Granted, they havent put out decent music as a band in some time. Hollyweird was a wash and then releasing their 20 Yrs was just the same as their first greatest hits. They need to get Bret off the road (including that STUPID reality show- Ive told him, “dude, girls arent stupid. If you cant keep it in your pants on the road, she’ll be gone or resenting you when you come home. It ISNT rock and roll that has broken all your relationships; it’s your complete lack of fidelity in every single city.” Doing a 2nd season of Rock of Love has made me lose even more respect for my friend, even the first one did. He needs to grow up and stop with the 20 somethings and go with a mature woman and remain faithful IF he is truly looking for love. He and in turn, Poison, lost a lot of fans because of this train wreck of a show- which I do watch so I can biotch at him later).

Poison is frustrated with Bret cause they think he is focused too much on his solo career than the band. He has always said Poison comes first, and to him, they do. But among many psych problems he has, sitting still in one place for more than a couple weeks drives him batty. He HAS to be on the road and touring all the time. He has 2 gorgeous young daughters (7-1/2 and about 3) at home with his now estranged girlfriend who he “conveniently” separated from again to do the second installment of the reality show. Kristy is beautiful and sweet and smart- and should be enough for Bret. Not to mention his great kids!

You and I and others here may be stuck in the 80s in one way or another, but his attachment to it is self destructive. He LIVES like it’s still 1988 and his party libido is the same. With that will come NO substantial relationship. He may want to find love, but dude, youre not going to do it with your cravings and habits, and truly, not in a bunch of wannabes just dying to be on TV on some show.

Anyway, sorry for the tangent rant. Poison would like him to focus on laying down a truly ALL NEW music record that is GOOD; not sub par. Which means he needs to stay put and get his arse in the studio. His solo stuff is great though.

                OH, AND PEGASI RULES!

Since Im comfortable here where as Ive been made fun of else where for simply liking 80s music and certain bands, I will say that yes, I think Duranx2 are great. I often listen to the Rio CD and my fave song on it is Hold Back The Rain. Back in junior high, Hungry Like The Wolf was all the rage. I remember too, that my dad was ill with something during those years and I use to cry a lot when I heard the song Save A Prayer.

Cant remember the yr I saw them in concert but I remember leaving very happy I went.

I grew up in boarding school and their risque posters (as with SO many other bands) and some musical tapes were often confiscated during random room searches. πŸ™„ I think I bought the Open Up And Say Ahh! tape by Poison, about 5 times!

I really respect and like ppl born IN the 80s that can appreciate the music and understand that those of us that were teens then, really have a special connection to it. Rather than making fun of us and going along their rap or grunge way, being so angry and violent for the most part (not saying ALL that genre is). I was 0-9 in the 70s and I remember the songs very well from then. And I respect others that worship that era as much as I do the 80s.

That Rio album was good. I actually have it on CD and like to listen to it every now and then. I’d have to save that Save a Prayer is my favorite song by Duran Duran. I always thought it was a very beautiful song.

My mom actually likes the band a lot too. She once told me about how when she was younger she would always request Union of the Snake to be played at a club she would often go to. The guy who handled the music got tired of her after a while.

I like Duran Duran too, however, their later song “Ordinary World” is my favorite.

I was more into INXS, Bon Jovi, and Def Leppard in the 80’s. I liked Poison too. I used to work for a promotion agency then and got to go to a lot of concerts and pre-show parties for free. It was a fun time.

I was married to my first husband then who was a b**tard. So that part wasn’t all that fun. Fortunately I was only married to him for under two years, so it didn’t waste too much of my life. πŸ˜€
