No, hacked is when someone steals an Ebay account that isn’t used much or hasn’t been used in a while, and bids on expensive items with it. Of course, they have no intention of paying for the item; it’s not even their account. They just do it to mess with Windstone (and other sellers), and to try to make their sales invalid.
Sniped is when a real buyer outbids everyone at the last few seconds of the auction.

Ya know….if these people have the brains to figure out ways to be bad, they ought to be able to do GOOD things as well. It’d take the same amount of energy.
I’d LOVE to have the kind of computer know-how it takes to do these things. But I’d rather use that for good things, not bad. *SIGH*
So what happens to the item that gets hacked? 👿If Windstone knows who the second highest bidder was they typically offer the piece to them. If not it can end up on ebay again in the near future.
