I saw these just listed on eBay… they’re advertised as Peacock color, but to me they REALLY look like rainbow.
Am I nuts?

Unrelated, but what happened to Jennifer’s Blue Aurora keeper auction?
Windstone collector in remission. 😉
They are peacocks in bad light. Big clue is to look at the noses. Rainbows have red noses, peacocks don’t.
And I would have to say the Blue Aurora keeper got hacked since it doesn’t show up in my watch list anymore.

I saw the winner and it wasn’t anyone I recognized, but I didn’t pay attention to the final bid. Stupid me!!! 😕
I was out playing with my son when it ended. Last price I saw was approximately $400. Do you remember roughly what the final price was?
The photos above are normal peacock dragons in some sort of weird lighting. I suspect incandescent.

Poor lighting for I wondered the same thing which made me enter to see a larger photo. The purple pea is showing more as reddish.
Plus, I think Rainbows have very deep royal blue (or red) eyes.

Eh, yeah those are definately peacocks in bad lighting. I’ve seen pictures taken of peacocks before that looked as if they were autumn leaf colored.

It is in John’s hands. That is usually what happens.

My art: featherdust.comI actually kinda like the colors of those peacocks. The lighting makes them look burnished. But they’re still “just” peacocks.
I think they look quite nice that way too. But it’s just yellow lighting. They look very much like my own peacock pictures, taken in my old house with poor, yellow lighting… though they obviously have more lights than I did.

Okay…time to show off my ignorance again. 😉 Hacked? Is this the same thing as being sniped? Or am I off base on this?
