Not sure if it is a regular production old warrior or a prototype. I asked the seller this question but don’t have a response yet.August 16, 2007 at 12:39 am #608404I don’t see the little pockmarks on the chest, so I’m assuming it’s regular production. Such a pretty fellow just the same ^^
August 16, 2007 at 12:56 am #608405I just got a return email from the seller. She was under the impression her dragon was a prototype when she bought it 8 years ago. I don’t know when the proto peacocks came out so I told her to check and see if the head/neck touch the wings or not and to see if the felt pad was signed. She seems very nice.

They came out in late 2005/early 2006 I believe. Much less than 8 years ago. 🙂 She probably saw the ebay sales gallery on the windstone website and misunderstood.

My art: featherdust.comAugust 16, 2007 at 1:06 am #608407He is nice, but he doesn’t have the original box and the payment has to be made via BidPay…I believe Bidpay charges the buyer for making the payment and not the seller… 🙂

August 16, 2007 at 1:08 am #608408I’ve never heard of bidpay?
August 16, 2007 at 2:51 am #608409Whats sad is this person says they paid $480 8 years ago when they bought this dragon at a trade show. Someone seriously ripped this poor person off. They took down the prototype description from the listing. I know a few people from the forum were looking for a peacock old warrior. I guess this thread should be moved to the flea market section.
August 16, 2007 at 3:10 am #608410Yeah…I was looking for one but I’m not sure if I am willing to pay with bidpay for the OW…I don’t really want to pay an extra fee on top of whatever I would have to pay for him and I would have to sihn up with bidpay….I just don’t know. 😕

I believe that they are sort of like paypal but the only difference is that they charge the buyer to make the payment and they send the seller a money order instead of putting the money into an account. 🙂

August 16, 2007 at 3:42 am #608412Nope. I just checked it out. Bidpay doesn’t charge buyers. Sellers pay a flat transaction fee ($0.50) and then BidPay takes a portion of the proceeds just like PayPal (2.5% if buyer is from the US and 2.9% if they are international). The biggest difference between the two that I can see is BidPay is strictly an auction payment service. On PayPal you can use the account for other online shopping like at the Windstone Editions store!
August 16, 2007 at 3:51 am #608413Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
